Barnet Bulldogs Basketball Club are proud to announce the return of our Girls Programme for the upcoming National Basketball League (NBL) season — a major step forward in our commitment to growing the women’s game in Barnet and beyond.
As part of this exciting relaunch, we are delighted to welcome Soheil Ordouei as the new General Manager of the Girls Programme, bringing a proven track record of player development, winning experience, and a genuine passion for growing the game.

Soheil’s coaching journey began in Iran with Kalleh Basketball Club, where he worked across U12, U14 and U16 age groups, building strong foundations in youth development. Since moving to the UK three years ago, he has quickly established himself as one of the most promising coaches in the region.
During his time with the London Knights, Soheil worked extensively within both boys’ and girls’ programmes, spending two years developing female athletes — culminating in winning the NBL U16 Girls Championship, a testament to his ability to build competitive, high-performing teams.
Soheil is no stranger to the Bulldogs environment. This past season, he played a key role within our senior men’s setup, helping guide the team to a 2nd place finish in NBL Division 1, and will continue as an assistant coach as the club pushes for further success.
Alongside his club commitments, Soheil is currently Head of Basketball at Mill Hill School and Mill Hill International School, where he has already made a significant impact. In his first year, the senior team reached the semi-finals, and in 2026 his teams have continued to excel — winning the Barnet League Year 9 Championship and reaching the Year 10 Final.

The return of the Girls Programme marks a key milestone for Barnet Bulldogs, as we look to build a clear pathway for female players — from grassroots participation through to national league competition.
Trials will be announced soon for our U16 & U18 teams.
