The upcoming 25/26 season brings exciting news for the team as Coach George Gazetas has re-signed as head coach. A native of Greece, Coach Gazetas will be entering his second season at the helm, looking to build on last year’s mid-table finish with a new-look team. His leadership and strategic vision have been instrumental in the team’s progress, and fans are eager to see how he will further develop the squad.

Joining him once again is Assistant Coach Olu Adenaike, who will be entering his third season in this role. Coach Adenaike’s experience and dedication have been invaluable to the team’s development, and his continued presence promises stability and continuity.

A new addition to the coaching staff is experienced Coach Soheil Ordouei. Before moving to the UK, Coach Ordouei coached youth and junior teams at Kalleh Sports Club and spent around 12 years as a player at the youth and junior levels for top-level teams in Tehran, the capital of Iran. His extensive background in coaching and playing at high levels brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team.

In the UK, Coach Ordouei has made significant strides as the head coach of the London Knights, overseeing all girls’ and women’s teams. For the upcoming season, he will also be the head coach of the U16 girls’ team in the NBL and has recently taken on the role of head coach at Mill Hill School. His multifaceted experience and commitment to developing young talent make him a valuable addition to the coaching staff.

With this strong coaching team in place, the 25/26 season holds great promise for the Bulldogs, who will announce their roster in the coming days ahead of the Barnet Basketball Festival on 7th September.
