Results:
7/11/23: London United 80 – 119 Barnet Bulldogs (NBL Regular Season)
14/11/23: Barnet Bulldogs 94 – 80 Oxford Hoops (NBL Regular Season)

The Bulldogs emerged unscathed in the November fixtures, triumphing on the road against a promising yet youthful London United outfit and then securing victory on home turf against the leading Oxford Hoops.

This series of wins has elevated our league standing to 5-1, placing us in the commendable 3rd position. It’s worth noting that our slightly lower game count, 6 compared to Oxford’s 7-1 and Greenhouse’s 7-2, positions us well. Importantly, the Bulldogs have already beat both Oxford and Greenhouse in head-to-head encounters.

Reflecting on the team’s recent performances, Player-coach Chuck Duru expressed his delight, singling out the triumph against Oxford Hoops. Duru remarked, “I was delighted with the results, particularly the Oxford Hoops win. The team is making strides each week, and our rigorous training sessions are paying off. It’s crucial that we finish 2023 on a strong note, carrying this momentum into the second half of the 2024 season.”

Looking ahead to December, the Bulldogs are set to face Surrey Rams on the 2nd, followed by two home fixtures against London Warriors on the 9th and Winchester Royals on the 16th. All matches will tip-off at 3 pm at Copthall Leisure Centre. Additionally, the Bulldogs anticipate their National Cup Round of 16 clash against NBL1 side Thames Valley Cavaliers, originally postponed due to venue availability; the rescheduled date is yet to be confirmed.
