The Barnet Bulldogs Basketball Club is proud to announce local charity, ‘It’s Time’ as their official charity partner for the 2024/25 season.
It’s Time, a UK-registered charity, is led by a passionate team who have personally faced the grief of losing a parent. Their mission is to provide emotional and practical support to young adults navigating loss, while also educating families, friends, and workplaces on how to better support individuals in these challenging times.
David Fagan, a Trustee of the charity and a former Barnet Bulldogs player has a personal connection to both the club and the charity. David on the significance of this collaboration:
“As a former Barnet Bulldog, it’s great to see the guys back together and putting on a show every game! My dad, who I sadly lost back in 2013, was a big supporter of our under-18 Bulldogs team, following us to many games back in the day.
It’s awesome to have It’s Time as a charity partner of the Barnet Bulldogs for the big season ahead. We are a UK-registered charity focused on helping young adults who experience the loss of one or both parents. Spreading the word and getting involved with grassroots organisations as well as larger corporations helps us deliver the services to our beneficiaries.”
Through this partnership, the Barnet Bulldogs will collaborate with It’s Time throughout the season to raise awareness and funds via events, matchday initiatives, and campaigns aimed at educating the public about the charity’s mission. The club’s commitment to supporting It’s Time reflects their broader goal of making a lasting impact in the community, both on the court and beyond.
